Bryant and Jason Lee are both committed to making and keeping our schools and neighborhoods safe. We have jointly drafted a letter to the Tacoma City Council that outlines our concerns about the safety of our students and community members along the Sprague corridor. We are hopeful that in the near future, some, if not all, of these concerns will be taken care of in order to make the the area as safe as we can.
Dear Bryant Community:
As you know safety for all of our community is incredibly important, and that includes the children. In order to provide a safe and orderly environment for your children please pick up students on the recess play area, not at the classroom doors, side entry areas, or in the front halls. Bryant is closely monitoring our parents, visitors, and friends and your help is needed. A second reminder for all is that animals are not allowed on Bryant’s campus. Only approved service animals are allowed.
We are required to have (11) various drills this school year and two are scheduled for this month (September): Lockdown and Earthquake. Parents are always kept abreast of emergency situations. You will receive a phone call directly after any major emergency drill.
